15+ Years Experience
My Story
For 15 years I have dedicated my skills and attention to teaching, leadership, instructional design, professional development, entrepreneurship, and advocacy. My career has taken me from K–12 classrooms and district-wide curriculum initiatives to higher education, healthcare training, and organizational leadership development.
I am an educational consultant, published author, and avid learning professional. Whether I am designing a TEA-certified curriculum for adult learners, partnering with Baylor College of Medicine on a district-wide health education initiative, or facilitating a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion course for future teachers — my purpose remains the same: to build learners who are equipped, confident, and capable.
My approach is rooted in the belief that learning is not a passive event. It is an active, transformative process that — when designed well — changes how people think, work, and lead.
My Philosophy
"Strong learners don't just absorb information — they use it. My work is about designing experiences that close the gap between knowing and doing."
Learner-Centered Design
Every decision starts with the learner — their context, their challenges, and what they need to succeed.
Equity & Inclusion
Effective learning environments honor every learner's identity, experience, and potential.
Measurable Impact
Good design is accountable. I build toward outcomes that can be observed, measured, and improved.
Community & Advocacy
Education is a community act. I bring the same commitment to advocacy that I bring to every classroom and curriculum.
